My name Perena I am 14 years old I live in jilkminggan. I learnt Mangarrayi from my younger grandmother. My favourite thing to do is to go fishing at Barramundi Crossing. I like to hunt turtle or goanna. After I catch them before I eat I put them on the hot coals to cook. Then I eat them with my family.
I like doing art, especially drawing. I also like working on the computer like my principal.
When I finish school I need to go to Alice Springs to study to be a teacher like Miss Shannon and I will like it.
