My name is Elma Baker,
I’m 15 years old. I’m from Jilkminggan Community. I like going fishing, hunting, and playing football with my uncles and cleaning my room. I have lots of fun with my brothers and sisters. I really like my community, all the people are very friendly, I love helping my people with everything.
What I don’t like is when people drink beer, but my uncle and aunty look after us and keep us safe.
When I’m done with school I’m going to be an Aboriginal Comunity Police Officer (ACPO), so I can look after my community. I want to make it safe for our old people and for my family. I really want to look after my baby brother, and you know why I want this job, is to help people.
